The Founder's Story
From a child who could not walk alone to the international stage
From a child who could not walk independently to an Adaptive Bodybuilding athlete on international stages.
The idea behind KELAB BINA BADAN ADAPTIF comes from the life of its founder, Wilson Siao, a bodybuilder from Perak, Malaysia, who lives with Cerebral Palsy.
Facing physical challenges from childhood
Cerebral Palsy affected Wilson's coordination, muscle control and movement from birth. As a child he could not stand, walk or move as freely as other children. He went through long-term rehabilitation and physical training, with his mother beside him, giving support and encouragement. Learning to stand and walk, one step at a time, was already a long road.
Bodybuilding became the turning point
At 15 he walked into a gym for the first time and began weight training. Movements that look simple to most people were a real challenge for him: muscle control, spasms and stability all needed more time and repetition. He kept going, adjusting his technique and building himself up step by step. For Wilson, the gym became the place to prove his ability and push past his limits.
A physical limit should never be a reason to give up on a dream.
